With the announcement last night from the Prime Minister that the entire country is going back into lockdown, we wanted to let you know how this will affect you if you need to replace a domestic appliance or have a domestic appliance repaired in Lockdown 3.

The new government announcement puts the whole country into lockdown. The good news is that we are still offering domestic appliance repair services and can sell new domestic appliances. Of course, we will continue to follow all of the government’s social distancing guidelines.

What are the restrictions in Lockdown 3?

The Tier system has been suspended. People in England must stay at home. You are only allowed to go out of your house for certain essential purposes. Primary and secondary schools will now be closed for all pupils except for those of vulnerable and keyworker children.

The reasons you may leave home include:

•          Exercise outdoors (once per day). You can meet one other person from another household outdoors in public to exercise
•          Shopping for essentials such as food or medicine
•          Education, childcare, medical appointments and emergencies
•          Moving home
•          Meeting with a support or childcare bubble.
•          Attending places of religious worship
•          Work, if it is "not reasonable" to work from home.
•          Children may move between parents if they are separated
