What Can We Do?

​​​​​​​There are a lot of different things that you can do to help with the environment.

•          Invest in a reusable water bottle – Many single-use plastic water bottles can end up in the oceans. If you make the switch to a reusable bottle you can take it with you and refill it whenever necessary.
•          Use recyclable wrapping paper –Many trees are cut down to make wrapping paper, so make the switch to recyclable paper or make your own reusable wrap from cloth.
•          Ditch single-use plastic straws – Straws take up to 200 years to decompose, hurting the environment in the process. Buy a reusable metal or bamboo straw that you can take with you!
•          Change household cleaners – Many mainstream cleaning products contain ingredients that harm the environment. Ideally, choose products without synthetic ingredients.
•          Swap your shampoo and conditioner - Just like cleaning products, shampoo and conditioner contain various ingredients that end up being washed down the drains. These chemicals end up in the ocean. Why not use soap bars instead? There are plenty of types of soap on the market that is made from natural, biodegradable, environmentally-friendly ingredients.
